Vlcko’s offers free testing services to determine your water’s pH, hardness and iron levels. You can either bring it to our Fairfax location or call and we’ll test it right at your home. We also offer E. coli, chloroform and nitrate test kits that are evaluated by the University of Iowa’s certified hygienic laboratory. Let us show you how to take your own samples or we can stop by and do it for a minimal fee. These are the same tests required by municipalities to make sure drinking water is safe. If you have a public water supply, you also need to have a Grade-A Water Operator on file. Steve Vlcko has been a Grade-A Water Operator since 2003, providing services that include water sampling, record keeping and completion of all required paperwork.
